FREE and Discounted Workshops for Educators

We’re partnering with Professional Educators of North Carolina (PENC), an independent, state-based, nonpartisan professional organization for educators, to explore ways we can help each other connect to North Carolina schools and students. PENC is offering National Board and HELPS Program workshops for teachers in April.

HELPS Program Literacy Workshops

The Helping Early Literacy with Practice Strategies (HELPS) Program is an easy-to-use reading program that has been demonstrated in numerous, published research studies to improve students’ fluency and comprehension. HELPS can be implemented one-on-one or in small groups, and is shown to be effective when used for only 10 minutes per day, three times per week.
